AHCI SSD Question

I just recently installed windows on my new SSD, but forgot to enable AHCI prior to installation. Can I still do it? Or should I do a clean install with AHCI enabled prior to installing windows? Thanks

If you are using Windows 7 (which you should be) it's fairly easy to switch to AHCI.

1. Follow the instructions in this Microsoft KB article.
2. Reboot and enable AHCI in the BIOS.
