AHCI Driver for Win7 needed?

Just wondering if the Intel storage driver is of any benefit vs. the included MS Win7 driver.

I haven't toyed with 7 at all yet, so I figured I'd check whether it was worth messing with an F6 driver install or if I should just let 7 install the MS AHCI driver when the OS installs.

edit-

Just to clarify, I won't be running RAID or an SSD, but the drive setup is:

WD 640 Black
3x 1TB Samsungs

No F6 driver install required for AHCI on Windows Vista or later. There are in-box AHCI drivers. You can install Windows Vista/7 using the generic in-box AHCI drivers, then install the chipset vendor's AHCI drivers after if you want them.
