AHA 2940UW SCSI adapter. Will a SCSI Ultra2 Drive 80pin work??

Hi there

I was just wondering before going out and getting this harddisk. Will it work onto to my controllercard??AHA 2940UW SCSI adapter

I have to admid, that I dont know much about SCSI, even I have two SCSI drives in my system one CD-R (Plextor) and one DVD (TOSH).

It will work as long as you get an adapter, however you will not be fully exploiting the speed of the drive UW = 40MBPS LVD = 80MBPS ... seems like a waste to me
