AH! What a Horrible NBA CALL!!!!

im not rooting for either team really in this hornets-magic game, but how horrible was that call

.7 seconds left he has the time to catch and shoot...he does and it clearly was in time....bad bad call

Nope, its impossible to do that. Notice how the clock started AFTER he has possession. If it had started on time, he wouldn't have beaten teh buzzer.

EDIT: I'm a neutral fan also, but I'm gonna have to agree with the call.

Reggie Miller could do it. 😛

Isn't .3 the minimum it takes. The fact that they just didn't end it shows that it's possible.

Not sure...but 0.5 sticks out in my head for some reason...

<< the rule book says anything above .3 u have time to catch and shoot. >>

But the thing is he DIDN'T catch and shoot. He caught, turned and shot. Plus, his airtime up alone is about .3 seconds.

EDIT: Yea, Charlotte got the win though.

I also have to agree with the call. they decided ahead of time what he would and would not be able to do in that length of time. it would have been wrong for the ref to depend on the time keeper as they don't always start time accurately. he made the right call. davis had a hitch in his release that cost him. either way they won tho.
