its such a pain in the arse but my computer is soooo much faster...
i should learn to unplug drives i don't want bad things to happen to though 🙁

Oh come now, reinstalling is allways fun!
You never know what happens... ahh the excitement! 😀

ghost is fun. after you make a ghost image of your windows partition with basics appz installed you can save yourself 90% of the trouble next time you need to start anew.

most of the apps i run get big revisions at least twice a year, so that doesnt' really help out much. 🙁

The thing I hate most about reinstalling Windows is having to reboot after each and every update from windowsupdate.com.

still does. just make a bare os image. updating winxp to sp1 and doing all the update etc, installing office, aim and thats about it. then save to image. next time u gotta restore to clean os u've saved a big chunk of time. works for me🙂 i still dread restoring from image, but its better then starting from scratch.

I hear that!

Qchain.exe learn it, use it, love it. One reboot, damn near unlimited hotfixes and up to one service pack I think.
