eh... can't you just stop the call?? unless you really need that 1min charged from the call...
 
Do you have call forwarding from your home phone to your mobile? Some people get telemarketing calls on their cell phones for this reason.
 
Since the telemarketer committed a crime by calling your cell phone, you may be able to have a court subpoena the telemarketer's name and number from your cell phone company so that you may sue the telemarketer for damages (you're entitled to $500).

wow...if they keep calling i will call my phone company and see what they say

 
if you want to find out who it is just pretend to be interested and call up the # they left you and get their name + company + phone #. After you get that information inform them that this is a cell phone and that it is illegal for them to call you

what if "someone else" signed me up for it without my "permission"?
 
I have received two spam text messages on my nextel. Many of my friends have nextel but haven't gotten any. Has anybody else gotten any?
 
when they call here and ask for my rents i tell them one passed away last nite and the other one is not lookin very good...and they are like sorry to hear that..and never got a call back from one that i told that too :|

That would be fraud, and carries a much bigger punishment than $500.
