Snowed a little around dusk. Now, all gone

We got 3-3.5 inches and pretty much all still here. On the positive side while only a handful of cities in SE Michigan had set new all time snow fall records this seals it for everyone. 95+" this year compared to an average of 42

Three inches of snow and no power due to the wind. Winds over 25 mph can bring SE Michigan back into the dark ages. 150,000 without power yesterday. Thank you Detroit Edison.

Sunday and Monday were a giant cock tease. Both in their 20s. Then I wake up this morning, it's freezing, and there's about 5cm of snow on the ground. The squirrels and birds look confused as hell.

Looking at the forecast for tonight, we're just shy of breaking a record low that's stood for 74 years. It's not unheard of for us to get now in April, but it's usually just flurries. Never this much. I guess that's why they stopped calling it global warming and renamed in "climate change".

We got some nasty winds followed by a dusting. The snow was enough to stick which is weird for this time of year.

Roads were REALLY iced over this morning on the way in.

A friend of mine swung by the house and told me that on the way over he drove past a girl/woman riding her bike topless...That was his sign of spring...no pics though since he was driving..the bumm.

With rare exceptions, the American/Canadian midwest is not "the globe." I feel like there should be a mandatory internet plugin so any time someone posts a message with the phrase "global warming" in it, the screen flashes the message "Your local weather patterns are not indicative of global climate."

I'm kind of bummed. I spent a couple hours getting all the water lines run and all my automatic waterers hooked up for the animals. I knew better, but I'm just so sick of buckets of ice every day, and carrying buckets of water all over the place. So, now I get to disconnect the water lines tonight, else they'll freeze and destroy all the valves.

Here I was thinking "like sun dresses".

After giving it some consideration, I think I'm right.

Blah blah blah global warming is a bitch blah blah blah. Northern Europe had the warmest winter in the last 50 years. February was over 8 (!) degress celsius warmer than average here where I live. I've never experienced a winter this warm. It was a weird winter. Blah blah blah global warming is a bitch blah blah blah.

A bit windy, but I'm enjoying the sunny 64 F weather. There could be rain and snow at the end of the week though.
