Ah, eventful day...

Well, today, I had a soccer tournament, which I was okay with. We got there and, soonthereafter, we started. Everything was going fine until we noticed one of the other team's players playing dirty. Alright, so I say "No problem, just let him run himself out." Well, he gets so pissed off that he punches one of my team mates in the face, to which my friend returns a heavier blow. I throw my friend off the guy, and put my hands up to show that I meant no harm. Well, the guy feels that I am a target - he punches me in the face while cleating me with his metal cleats in the leg. I came back at him with intent right after that, but was held back by my team. I hate people who play sports, but can't deal with their pride / anger issues.

He should have been pulled from the game before it ever got to that. Anyone that plays dirty is not playing as a team.

I know - our captains even pointed him out to the ref, but it was a tournament and those tend to bring the worst of refs. *Shrugs* It was amusing to me afterwards.
