Ah crap. Freezer popped open in the middle of the day

So somehow the freezer popped open a little (maybe something inside fell and pushed it open--it's a bit crowded in there). When I came home, the food closest to the door got unfrozen. The ice cream was no longer solid (but not completely liquid either). The brocolli thawed. Eggo waffles got all soggy. Everything was still cold. Though some stuff may no longer have been "refrigerator" cold.

Do you think the perishable crap (brocolli, meat) is still good?

It's probably still fine. Though, if you have any doubts, just throw it out and buy new food. It's your health.

i doubt anything is spoiled to the extent it will make you sick as long as it stayed cold, but frozen veggies & many other foods don't taste nearly as good once they do the thaw/refreeze thing.

Cook it. I'm no expert, but I think meat has to be left out for a considerable amount of time in the heat before it'll spoil.
