i'm watching CNN and bill schneider just mentioned that theres X number of voters, Y number of booths, an 11 page ballot that takes 15 minutes to get through so broward county can't possibly handle even 50% turnout.

I was in Florida for 10 days a week ago. After interacting with the populace of that state for over a week I now understand the election irregularities.

Remember that less than half the voters will actually show up.
Many will also skip over items on the ballot.

This problem is good for the republicans. Broward's democratic base alone has made the difference in the state voting patterns many times.
