"AGP8X 1.5V only"?

I'm upgrading a budget system and would like to use an ASUS K8N motherboard (with a Sempron) and an existing ASUS V9180 AGP8X GeForce4 graphics card. However, the specs for the motherboard say "AGP8X 1.5V only"... Does that mean that AGP8X 0.8V (isn't that the standard voltage?) is not supported? I can't find anything about voltage in the graphics card manual, how do I figure out whether this will work?

Thanks!

If that GeForce 4 is an 8X Card, then it will work.

3.3volt AGP Slots was the Standard they used when AGP was 1X/2X. AGP 8X uses a 1.5volt Slot. 4X I'm not sure about, I have a "1.5volt Only" 4X Slot on one of my PCs', although there maybe 4X Cards that use 3.3v ???

About that 0.8volt, I was wondering about that myself. Even though 8X AGP is actually considered a 0.8volt Standard, My AGP Slot runs at 1.5volts using a 9500Pro-8X Card (according to Soyo HardWare Monitor)

Hopefully that explaination eases your "Hardware Failure" Fears
