AGP4XPRO work with a voodoo 5500?

the title says it all I have the voodoo card running on a cubx board it works fine. I want to upgrade to a faster processor and it looks like Im going to have to get a new motherboard. so Im wondering about my voodoo 5500.

will work fine. v 55000 doesnt really need or can use the 4x anyways,

The performance gain from 2x to 4x is very minimal so don't worry.

The only motherboards the Voodoo5 has a problem with are Pentium4 motherboards, and that is because they don't fit The P4 uses 1.5v only connectors, and the V5 is 3.3v.

The Voodoo line of cards does not use AGP except for AGP 1X.

You would see the same performance from a PCI card.
