AGP x4 possible under NT with VIA Apollo Pro133A?

Hi folks,

I was wondering if it's possible to set AGP slot in Asus CUV4X-E motherboard to use x4 speed under WinNT 4.0. The video card is GeForce2 MX-400, which is x4 AGP rated. The BIOS Is set to x4, but according to Sandra and WCPUID, I'm only getting x2. The debate of whether 4x is any improvement over x2 aside, can someone help me with this? Thanks very much in advance.

I should add that I did check out both VIA and Asus websites, and while they had AGP fixes, they were only for Windows 9x and 2K.

there is no signifigant improvement from2x to 4x. save your time and dont worry about it. =)

unless you have a radeon (LE), i had trouble with 4x agp and the apollo pro,w hich IS a known issue.

you *should* be ok at setting 4x with an MX right?
