So I 'm debating whether to upgrade my 6800 128 mb agp (on NF3 ultra motherboard) to a 7800GS or to buy a new motherboard and get a 7800GT. If I got the GS I would want a Superclocked version, but I can get a GT for about $40 cheaper and it would be faster. If I got a NF4 motherboard for around $80-90 I figure I would have a faster option and a better upgrade path. Does this sound like a good idea? Any motherboard recommendations? I don't think I will get SLI (probably won't take advantage of it and it would be more expensive).

If you have the bucks willing to spend more, just grab the PCI-e, it will save u a LOT of headaches :)

depends on what you'll be doing with your computer. the epox 9npa+ ultra is $105, the DFI Ultra-D is a bit more...ASRock has a $70 one (i think) and it comes with both AGP and PCI-e....i know there's some good ones in the 80-90 range but the epox would be a good buy. try asus
