AGP vs AGP 2.0 question...

If I have an older AgP slot (non-2.0), will the newer 2.0 cards work with it? I know it fits...

Normally yes. Although the FAQ says they are fully compatible, there are always exceptions.
 
You have to be careful. Most vid cards are backward compatible to AGP 1.0 (1x/2x)
but look at the specs closely.
Also, if you're upgrading that MB, make sure the AGP is 2x/4x compatible if you're
going to be using that older AGP vid card. Alot of the P4 MBs ONLY take 4x cards......
