I have a Radeon 64MB DDR Universal AGP(2x/4x) video card in one of my rigs. I am planning to purchase a mobo that supports AGP 4x at 1.5 volts.
Viewing documentaion on ATI's web site it appears to me that a Universal AGP card has a compatiable "key" configuration that can fit in the AGP slot of the mobo that I plan to purchase. ATI's site also lists this video card as able to run at either 3.3v or 1.5v dependent upon the AGP slot that it's inserted into on a mobo.
If the video card can support either 3.3v. or 1.5v does the card automatically select the correct voltage based on what type of AGP slot it is installed to?
