AGP video card upgrade?

I can tell my video card is starting to die and I have no interest in building a new system. I do game on this old rig and it works great for games like L4D (except for the artifacts and the odd sounds emanating from the fan) but I'd like to try newer games like Empire TW. I'm hoping that there's an upgrade path for the gpu. Any suggestions for around $100?

amd 3800+ dual core (stock, but will oc 15%)
msi neo2 platinum
2 gigs value ram
74 gb raptor
ocz modstream 450w
X1950 pro (AGP)

Thanks AT gurus!

Looks like the only significant upgrades for you via AGP would be the Radeon 3000 and 4000 series, and even within them only a few were made/sold in AGP. For $100 though, you can get basically the best that Newegg has to offer for the AGP market which is a Radeon 4670/4650 (the 4670 is about $15+ above 100) which is likely the strongest AGP cards you'll see (unless they decide to make a Radeon 5000 series card, which they might since they basically own the AGP market now).

So just Newegg -> Desktop Video Cards -> AGP 4x/8x and sort by price from highest to lowest, and you'll see the cards that are within budget that are seeming upgrades from your X1950.

Will probably pull the trigger on the HD 3850. http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814102730

I've never had a Sapphire card before, hope their support is good- will probably need it to get the right drivers.

Thanks
