A friend of mine asked me to buy a video card for him that would be able to display Red Alert 3 at 1280. Ofc it has to be playable. He has a 3GHz P4 HT (so it's not Celeron) in an Abit IC7 with 1GB DDR and an ATI 9200.

I thoguht about an X800XT/850 or similar but I never actually tried one with that game so any input would be welcome. Budget: about $50-70

Any of you with some firm knowledge if that (or some other) AGP card would be able to handle this game at 1280?

Thanks in advance!

Im just guessing, but Im not sure you can get a video card that can game at 1280 well for 50-70 dollars. You can see the rig I have below, and I have to lower my res to 1024 for newer games, and thats usually with med to low settings to get a decent frame rate.
