AGP Video Card For EPOX EP-MVP3G5 Motherboard

I posted this in the Video forum but no one will responded. I have an old Socket 7 EPOX EP-MVP3G5 mother board and I want to install an AGP card (I'm currenly using a non 3d pci card)d. I tried an AGP ATI 9600 card but it would not fit into the AGP slot. This is the answer I got from EPOX Tech Support:
Only AGP 1x and 2x compatible cards are supported. AGP 1.0 spec compliant. AGP 2.0 and above not supported. Check NVIDIA.com or ATI.Com
Any advice on what AGP cards I can use in this motherboard? I know I can use a PCI card but I woud like to save the PCI slot

An original-generation nVidia TNT card ought to work, if you can find one. Ironically, it's old enough that I can't find any in the For Sale/Trade section here, there are only TNT2's at the moment. You could post a WTB (want to buy) thread in there for one, and explain in detail what your situation is. If you do cave in and go PCI, a used Voodoo3 wouldn't cost you much.

Try the following:

NVIDIA: Riva TNT, TNT2
ATI: ATI 3D Rage Pro

I would avoid GeForce or more recent cards as they may overwork the AGP regulator on your older motherboard.
