After a looong, long time, i've finally the chance to replace my old Voodoo3 (argh!) with a GeForce2.
But my problem is that my mobo only supports AGP v1.0 and the GeForce2 needs an AGP v2.0 compliant mobo, according to the manufacturer page (eVGA).
Later, I've found this on the FAQ:
<< The AGP standards are fully backwards and forwards compatible: AGP 1.0 cards (1X and 2X capable) have no problems with AGP 2.0 motherboards (1X, 2X, 4X capable) and vice versa >>
Assuming this information is correct, but considering the ocean of different hardware that exists, should I go for it ?
