AGP (PCI mode) - is this normal?

I was checking the advanced settings properties tab under display properties to verify what video settings I have configured. However, I noticed that under adapter information the bus is listed as AGP (PCI mode). This doesn't sound right. Does any else see this as well? Everything else listed on this tab is correct (Geforce 4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X, 128MB, etc.)

I fixed it. I needed to install the 4 in 1 drivers. Now it shows it as 4x.

you need to install chipset drivers (or sometimes they're split up...look for AGP drivers).

via? yes. they include the AGP drivers, IIRC.

EDIT: Via chipset, that it.

What motherboard (model and brand) do you have?

PCI mode is, in other words, AGP x1. so yes, installing 4 in 1 will really help.
