well i was going to start overcloking my new barton 2500+, when i realised i couldn't find the AGP/PCI lock option in my NF7's bios - can anyone point me to it?
It should be on by default, I'd think. Of course, I've got an 8RDA+ and not an NF7, so best to let someone that has that particular model confirm it. Even so, being an nForce2, I suspect it's probably the same.
the AGP lock is there in the Soft Menu III section of the BIOS...shouldn't be hard to find. the PCI bus is locked at 33MHz and cannot be changed. Abit's reasoning is that changing the PCI bus results in system instability and no real performance gains. so its just a safety measure.
