I recently did some changes to my system(new video card and new mobo) And I noticed that when oc' ing there was no lock on the agp/pci buses. Anyway I was wondering should I trade the mobo in or just oc everything.

Oh and I actually just flashed my new x800 pro usig the steps on this site. Man it is amazing, this card is now a full x800xt pe with full stability. Awesome card, I really couldn't ask for anything more out of it. Thanks for the info MegaWorks.

Peace Joe

You do NOT want the PCI and AGP buses overclocked very far.

How do you know it isn't locking? Clockgen? I know for a fact that some of the later AV8's have locks, but I'm sure there is somebody with more knowledge that can help you.

You might need to flash the bios with a newer version. Another thing you might try, is some boards want you to set the AGP to 67 mhz to implement the lock. If neither of those work I don't know what to tell ya....but having the PCI/AGP buses out of whack is NOT a good thing.
