AGP Latency

What is it?

How can I lower it?

SiSoft's Sandra says that my TNT2's AGP Latency is 284 clocks.
Comparing this to the PCI latency of other devices in my system, it seems a little high!!!

Final Reality is giving me just 16Megs per second 3d transfer rate.

I have just got a 367.5 Mhz K6/2 (overclocked from 333) 105 MHz fsb.
My old K6/2 300 (with a 100 MHz fsb) gave me 32Megs per second.

I have no way of knowing whether AGPx2 is on or not on this mobo (a GA5AX) unlike my old one (a crappy VIA MVP4+ I think).

No, idiot, re-read the post. Latency is 284 CLOCKS. No one mentioned speed, just time. Latency isn't measured in hertz.

Anybody got any sensible advice? Please?

I have posted this in so many forums and newsgroups in the last week or so, SOMEONE must be getting bored of it, and can tell me where to find the information (I can read for myself!).

I thought the latency was supposed to be 248 clocks? At least, that's what it is on my system....ASUS CUSL2 and Creative GeForce 2 GTS.
