"AGP fast write" & GF4Ti4200 128mb

My MoBo, a Soyo Dragon+, has in the AGP BIOS settings an option named
"AGP FAST WRITE" which is disabled (by default). The manual "explains":
"VIA Chipset will use fast write to AGP if this item is enabled. Not all AGP cards support fast write".😕 What the hell is that?!?

My Gainward's manual don't mention this feature. Before I try by my own
risk, anyone could tell me if my GF4Ti4200 has this feature ?
Does it make any difference if enabled?

Thanks in advance...

Well, my old Geforce2 GTS supported AGP fast-writes so when I got my new Gainward Ti4200 this week I assumed it did too. And I guess I was right since it works fine with fast-writes turned on.

Nope. Not in my experience. I ran a test with my GTS with fast-writes enabled and then disabled. My 3dmark score was the same within 10 points.
