AGP driving Value

I am wondering if anyone has changed the AGP driving value on a board with a Via Apollo Pro 133 a chipset. My friend was telling me that Via has problems with there 4x AGP settings, and the way to get my system to run at 4x for sure is to change the driving value. I want to make sure i am running at AGP 4x. Anyone have some settings they use or know about this problem? thx
