sharkeeper - Thanx for the tip!

Anyone else use "68" for an ATi vidcard with the 128/Pro chipset?

You are better off setting it to "AUTO" if everything seems
to be working. AGP4X has the ability to compensate the drive of the driver automatically as the temperature or voltage supply varies and affects the current drive to the interface. The "68" recommended value is only for KA7 based motheboards in which the "AUTO" setting does not work properly on revision CD kx133 chipsets.

PeAK - Thanx much 4 that link...I'm following it now. I have an early Epox
K7XA, which may have the "CD" NorthBridge KT133 (not sure). I can play DVD movies in AGP2X, but it locks up qwik in AGP4X...I use Win95B.

Just went back & read Anand's review of the K7XA, seems it *does* use the newer "CE" KT133 chipset. So much 4 that theory, guess I'll live with AGP2X
for now, I'm sure it's not a big deal. Maybe my lockups are ATi video/DVD driver related,I'll not hold my breath waiting 4 better ones. Thanx everyone!
