AGP driving value?? (epox 8k7a with a geforce 2 pro)

I read at the leadtek support site that certain motherboards (such as those that use the amd 761 chipsets ... like the epox 8k7a board) that have a geforce 2 based card (like the geforce 2 pro) would work better by using a specific AGP driving value in the bios. Is this true?? Any owners of this board with a geforce 2 pro card use a specific value?? I tried looking through epox's website but they dont mention anything regarding this.

wow, i have never heard that, but that would not surprise me. AMD chipsets are not exactly known for their robust AGP buses, as opposed to VIA's. if there were some news on that, i wouldn't look for it on epox's website. they barely have english figured out--i would check these forums. i have that exact board, but with a POS TNT2 video card. i'm just lying low until nforce hits us.

Some ppl claimed tht increase the AGP strength will provides stability. But I didn't see the benefits (yet) from doing it. Maybe u can just stick to the auto settings on ur bios
