As the title says I am looking for an AGP card with driver support for Windows 7. This is for an older PC that has plugged along on XP. It runs pretty good on 7. I know, its old. But I'm hoping to get a little more life out of this before building a new machine.

My VisionTek 2600Pro AGP cards are supported in Win7.

Edit: Only if you have a single-core CPU though. Dual-cores crash the driver.

Look for 4670 cards with DDR3 instead of DDR2. Local Microcenter carries a few AGP variants, although their price performance ratio is horrendous. Would probably be the best thing you could get to work under your conditions.

If you don't need to game, GeForce6 and 7 cards (newer generations are not available in AGP) can be had cheaply from craigslist. I have a 6600 GT in an old P4, and Windows 7 + Aero run quite smoothly.

Check you rower supply rating.
I bought an XFX 4350 and it "sugguests"My a 450 watt power supply.
Mine is working with a good 400 watt but an old 250 was not enough.

Those are very conservative to cover themselves in case someone tries to run a 5870 in a 250w machine with tons of molex-pcie adapters.

A 4350 uses the equivalent power of maybe a couple desktop hard drives.
