AGP card recommendations for my setup.

I have a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ clocked at ~ 2110Mhz 333Mhz FSB, on a MSI 746F Mobo.

These are the cards I have been looking at:

GF6600GT (128 / 256MB ? About 50$ less than the x800 GTO. On AGP that is)
Radeon x800 GTO (dunno brand of this, not so easy to find, probably 30$ less than the x800XL, not so expensive on PCI-E, but a lot more on AGP.)
HIS Radeon x800 XL (The pro is overpriced here, dunno why)
HIS Radeon x850 XT (this is ca 30$ more than the HIS x800XL)

So what do you guys think? 🙂

If the HIS X850XT is only $30 more than the X800XL then it's a much better deal. I'd go for the X850XT. Btw what are the prices of the two cards?

I would buy a used x800xl. Look in the FS/FT forum.
I recently got a brand new x800xtpe for $250 there.

When is the stupid 6800GS going to be here in AGP for $200-250. This would solve everyone's problems who is in the position of OP. Why can't Nvidia realize if it released 6800GS in AGP form prior to Christmas, it would make a killing?

hopefully before X-mas, i really want to see how it compares to the PCI-E version, and if it could be unlocked, since it will be using the NV40 core.
