AGP card in PCI Mode?

I just re-formatted my computer and when installing the new 44.03 Dets for my GeForce4 Ti4400, I went to check the settings on it and it said it's in PCI mode. Now, that wouldn't bother me, except for the fact that it runs all my games at lower FPS and my 3dMark2001 score went down 2000 points! How do I correct this erraneous mode selection?

Bump for a guy in need. I'm sure there was another thread on this a while back. Do a search for "pci" in archives for video forum perhaps.

I couldn't advise you much, but be sure that it's not sharing irq except for the steering holder whatchamacallit :)

I'm going to bump this again. I can't seem to figure out why it's running like that. I couldn't find a thread on it, and I've been ripping out PCI cards left in right in hopes that it isn't a conflicting problem. However, I thought that the AGP slot and the PCI slot right next to it were the only conflicting slots. And I've never put anything into that slot, my heatsink for the card is too big. I don't know, but it's pissing me off that I had a 10k scoring card on 3dmark, running all my games smoothly, to a 8k marking with choppy frame rates on the same exact computer setup. All I did was reformat dangit.

Sounds like a driver problem, not a hardware problem. Did you re-install your mobo drivers?

I second that. Without my VIA 4in1 drivers, my graphic card performance drops 25%.

I had downloaded the latest drivers for my mobo (ASUS P4B533-V). So I'm thinking it's not the motherboard. Before my inevitable reformat (ugh), the only things that I can remember were different was the stock mobo BIOS and Dets 30x (whatever was the last before the 40s). Oh I also had it overclocked from 275/552 to 295/595 (but still... that doesn't yield an enormous 2000 point 3dMark difference).
