agp card in p3b-F

It seems like I can not get any agp card working in Asus p3bf. I am running the mobo at 66 fsb for now( with a celeron 2 566) Is there any trick that I should do to get it working? It has a dip switch to set the agp bus either 2/3 of fsb or equal to fsb (for 66 fsb) I tried both ways. Each time I get a garbled display. The same card(s) work in other mobos( BH6 at 83 Mhz! and a gateway mobo at 66 Mhz without any problem.
So is the motherboard AGP slot defective? I can run PCI video cards.

That's bizzare. Are you sure it's properly seated? Is there a card in the 1st PCI slot? I have a P3B-F with a Geforce DDR and previously a TNT2 Ultra. Both worked fine OC'd and default.

Try the latest BIOS for your board, version 1008 beta 001.

The AGP speed should be set to 1:1 at 66MHz FSB.

tried everything. I think its is a faulty AGP slot.
