I am trying to install a (Best Data) Geforce 2 MX400 64Mb card into a system that has an FIC AZ-11 motherboard. The system freezes at POST, and video is blank. I'm wondering if there could be a AGP slot voltage issue here? Or perhaps i have a bad card?

The AZ11 user manual lists no voltage specs, nor does it have any of the "voltage warnings" i have seen in later boards.

The system functions fine with an NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64 AGP card.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Then I'd tend to agree with you about the G2MX being faulty. Is there another system you could test it in?

Yup rule #1 of building your own. Always have a working system to trouble shoot parts for the new one.

Boomer try the card in a freinds or if you have another system try it.

Yep, I was just skeered to do so without know about the voltage issue. The other system is about a year older mobo, and i didn't wanna fry anything.

Thanks for the input.
