AGP Card Choice for (mainly) 2D Performance

Dear All

I've narrowed down my choices to 2 cards at around £120 (my ABSOLUTE limit):

Connect3D X850 Pro 256Mb GDDR3 VIVO

or

Leadtek GF7600GT 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/DVI

I do game a little but I'm not overly bothered about HDR. The main function for the card is 2D Photoshop, a bit of simple 3DS Max, and I'm starting to dabble a little in video editing.

Question is which will be better for 2D performance? The nVidia card has higher clock speeds and better Open GL support, whereas the ATI card has a wider memory bus.

Should I be looking at a different card? I don't currently have the funds to upgrade to a PCI Express motherboard, or I would get an entry-level Quadro FX.

How would this card stand up to my two choices - PNY Quadro 4 280NVS Dual 64MB?

All sensible suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Jonny

Just get the cheaper one. Vid cards passed the realm of optimal 2D performance after the Geforce 2 series...

They're both good cards. Like Nightmare225 said, they should both do fine in 2D. If you're going to mess with some video, would one of the older all-in-wonder cards be helpful?
