AGP Bus Speed Control in CUSL2

I have the option to set CPU/RAM/PCI speed in Bios. But nothing for AGP! i dont want to fry my brand new GTS so could some pls guide me as to how i should protect the card while over clocking?
 
There is no manual AGP bus speed control (yet).

AGP divider is set as follows:

1:1 for 66-99
2/3 for 100-132
1/2 for 133-??

Not very flexible, but that's how it goes.
 
so if i set my FSB @133 then my AGP Bus would be 66.5MHz and if my FSB is @132 then my AGP Bus would be 82Mhz (and prolly burn my GTS?) ?

Answer to 1st question is yes. It's unlikely you will burn your GTS at 88(132).....most are known to be able to handle up to at least 100MHz AGP....(crazy people).
 
The GTS should be fine at that speed. Like Andy says, not real flexible, but much better than BX boards had been. I've been running a BX master at 144MHz fsb for quite a while with just a cheap TNT2 Ultra and so far no problem. 🙂
 
cool 🙂 thanx people. i will try that. also since my CPU has been tested at 933@1.75v , can i just up the voltage to 1.75 and FSB to 133Mhz and boot up? rather than move up 1-5Mhz at a time from 100Mhz. also for some reason both MBM5 and 3DMark detect my CPU at 108Mhz and Voltage at 1.67.? i am still using default bios settings.

The actual core voltage on the CUSL2 is always slightly higher than what you set it to....this is fine.

If you have been guaranteed 933MHz@1.75volts, then just try and go straight for that. Should work with no problems. You will find that when you set the FSB to 133, it's actually 134....
 
ah someone else with the odd 938 problem huh? set it to 133*7 and you get 938 instead of 933. kinda odd. a problem with the Cusl2?
