AGP Bus problem (Detonator3)

I downloaded the newest driver for my Nvidia Geforce DDR 256 32mg Graphic card. Before dowloading there was a 2x Agp bus. After installing the new driver under (win 98se) it's only 1x and my System crashed 2x within 2 min WTF is going on? Can anybody help?
My system is:
Asus K7M
Asus 6800V
Maxtor Diamond Max +40
128 Pc100 Ram
Soundbalster 128 PCI
T-bird 900
