I believe that I have all the hardware to give me AGP/4X capability. My BIOS is set to 4X. My Mob is set to JumperFree with all dip switches "off." But how do I know that in fact AGP/4X is operating as it should? HELP!

Try running WCPUID by H-Oda, it should tell you. BTW, there's basically no difference in performance between 2x and 4x so it doesn't matter anyway...

Oda's WCPUID says 2X. With my hardware being 133 FSB capable what in heck is the 4X good for if I don't know how to turn it on; or is it a matter that it can't be turned on with the processor and adapter card that I have. Why would Intel, Creative and Asus put out this level of technology to result in no difference between 2X and 4X? That doesn't make sense to me. There has to be a bottleneck somewhere.

PIII 800eb (133hz FSB)
Creative Annilator Pro Geforce DDR
128 mb of 133 SDRAM
Asus P3V4X with VIA Apollo Pro 133A Chipset with newest drivers
Nivida's newest drivers for the Geforce card:disgust:

For future cards to utilize, and for marketing hype to help sell current cards. For the time being, AGP 4x is useless.
