Hey I have a presario 5726. Ive asked compaq if my agp slot is 2.0 compliant. They didnt give me the answer. Ive now found a program that supposively tells you if yours is or not. Its called wcpuid and can be found at http://www.h-oda.com . I also emailed hercules to ask for the exact requirements for their prophet 2. Mainly the tech guy said was that I had to have a 2.0 compliant agp slot and also they strongly recomend at least 250 watt atx power supply. My compaq only has 200 max output. Anyone have any video card suggestions for a agp 1.0 compliant card because according to wcupid thats what my agp slot is. Thanks for any suggestions or comments.


 
you dont need a 250 watt power supply. you should be ok, with most cards. i'd stay away from a orignal geforce because its somewhat possible you'll have a problem if you computer has a lot of stuff in it, but you should be ok with a geforce 2 or a radeon or anything else
