AGHH!! #*&@#! Contact Lens!

I was just sitting here neffing along when I blinked and went blind in one eye. My contact decided to go up into my eye cavity. Now it's just chilling somewhere floating around in my skull. Dammit.

Anyone have extraction tips?

Don't ya just hate when that happens?

My pet peeve is forgetting to blink during games, causing them to dry out and pop loose.

You need to pull your eyelid out from your eye and up. Then roll your eye, blink a lot, and if necessary throw some water in there. Alternately you could use one of those eyewash cups to lubricate the eye so the lens will come out. Be sure you do it over some place you can catch it when it comes out.

That's only happened to me once. I couldn't feel it in there so I thought it fell out and I lost it. Two days later it popped out while I was taking out my contacts (yes I had two in one eye).

Let me guess... gas perm lenses right? God, I used to hate it when they did that. One of the best things I ever did was switch to soft lenses.
