Anybody watching this. I liked it

Fall’s buzziest new drama had a super-powered premiere Tuesday night: ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — a show so big it takes two company names to officially describe it — delivered 11.9 million viewers and a 4.6 adults 18-49 rating. That makes S.H.I.E.L.D. TV’s highest-rated drama debut in nearly four years (since ABC’s V premiere in November, 2009).

I watched it, still on the fence about it. On the other hand, The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife both sucked. Lucky 7 was good and shows some promise.

Missed it... NCIS was on and I forgot this was on.

I'll stream it on the weekend. I'm not really that big into comic books and superheroes, so we'll see. With Joss Whedon at the helm, prospects aren't good -- I love some of his stuff, problem is that not enough do.

Also, countdown to when they bring Summer Glau, Amy Acker, and Eliza Dushku onboard.

It's a decidedly meh show right now. Cookie cutter characters. I'll give it a few more shows to see how the writing and plots develop, but right now I'd say its mediocre at best. It's just getting a lot of draw because of the obvious Marvel tie-in and setting.

This.

I just love these shows that have the basic formula of a super elite, highly-trained group with years of experience in their field who goes around and solves crimes/international incidents/etc but of course, they meet some homeless chick living in a van/whiz kid/insert other lame plot device and ask that person to join their team. Really lame.

EDIT: Oh, and the girl in the OP is definitely hot, but I hate her character and just wanted to punch her.

I'm really not too sure what to think about the show. It was alright overall, but it didn't really pull me in. I'll have to see how the rest of the episodes play out.

On the other hand, The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife both sucked.

I thought the worst part about The Goldbergs was the older brother. Goddamn, he was so annoying on screen. :| The younger, pervy brother was probably the best part about the show.

That premiere surge in viewers was attributed to the success of the other Marvel movies including the Avengers. But I'm calling a nose dive in ratings after what everyone else saw the other night.

It was complete meh. Like I said, bring the chicks naked and I'll consider DVR'ing it!

Well as soon as they bring in Summer Glau we know the series is doomed.....

... Sadly, that's true. She is hot and entertaining to watch, but somehow has one of the worst track records ever.

I hope she doesn't kill Arrow. They're introducing The Flash next season! :(

I can't believe Arrow got renewed. Would like to see her succeed.

Amy Acker's on Person of Interest and hot as ever...

I really wanted to like AoS.. I loved most of Joss' other shows and have read comics most of my life. It just feel flat to me. Tried too hard to be cute and wink at the comic fans. The cast and premise fell straight out of a bad 80s show so much I wondered if Michael Knight was going to show up. I'll give it at least the season, unless it gets too bad as most of Whedon's style is to slowly bring the arc to a boil.

I lov Angel and like the later seasons of Buffy. Didn't really care for Firefly on TV, but loved Serenity. Tried to like Dollhouse, hated it. Whedon's hit and miss for me, but Angel and Serenity have me going back just to see how things go.

They mentioned Extremis so that gives me hope for the show. It felt kinda awkward but I will give it a pass as it was the pilot.

If anything that drove me off as that was the weak part in iron man 3 for me.

Lets see some normal super powered people / weapons in the show as so far it's just normal people we have seen and if the team is full of nothing but just highly trained people as we saw it's going to be boring.

Sure avengers really only had one superhero as we call them, hulk, as thor is normal for his race and captain america is because of a potion and that's fine to have similar things here.

But the problem is there is nothing new as so far we have what looks like a clone of black widow and hawkeye but with a gun and two scientists and some hacker chick so they need something actually special.
