Age verification for Poker Stars = lame

When did this happen? I remember playing there a few years ago and never having to deal with this. Now they want my passport or driver's license info AND the last 4 digits of my social security number.. just to play a little poker? I'm of age, but I won't be giving this info out for the sake of entertainment.

Well there are 80,000 other people playing right now who dont seem very worried about it. Ive been playing there for a while now, never had any problems. I dont recall the last 4 ss number bit though. Well i have to get back to my two sng tables, gotta make money while im bored at work.

It's probably because of all the kids that were using their parents CC to play and donking the money away.

few sites allow U.S. players to play. pokerstars does, party doesn't. you can't use a credit card to fund accounts anymore. moving money around is a PITA now.
