Age to own a firearm?

Can anyone point me in the direction so I can find out the required age to own a firearm, pistol or rifle in the state of Missiouri?

I'm pretty sure its just like over here in illinois, 18 for rifles, shotguns, etc, 21 for handguns

Here in Oregon, to own one is any age. To buy a rifle or handgun is 21. My great grandfather gave me a rifle when I was 12, and the state knew about it -they couldn't to jack. I even had it in my room at age 16. :Q oh no! I'm gonna kill someone!!!!!!!

well I "own" some firearms, however they are at my parents house

I am thinking if this gets serious, I may want to be able to protect myself

I can all but assure you that bin laden isn't going to come take our part of the country by force himself in any way that you can defend against with a gun
