Hello all,

I picked up AOM the other day and have been enjoying it a great deal. I began playing the single player Greece campaign, and I'm on the 7th mission where you have a small posse charged with liberating a town from bandits. I have killed off most of the bandits, rescued a hoard of centuars, but there remains gates and towers that cannot be taken by what forces I have. Now, there are an abundance of native buildings and seige towers that look helpful, but I cannot seem to commandeer them. Any ideas?

How about you get your butt back in the game and figure it out for yourself like it was meant to be done?
Why ruin a brand new game by asking everyone for help or reading faqs?

Well TrollyTrollickson... welcome to ATOT.

Nate: make sure your heros go to the various buildings. They're the ones that actually trigger control of buildings I believe.

That's how it worked throughout the rest of the game, but it didn't seem to be working here. In particular there was a cluster of siege towers that my heroes seem to have no sway over. Perhaps I must find a particular building to first commandeer? I thought that I tried them all; could be wrong though. Thank you for your reply. :)

how about you stfu

aom is an rts, not some puzzle game. rts games are not meant to have the user spend a significant amount of time figuring out how to do stuff like in myst or something.
