Age of Mythology and Radeon

Has anyone had any problems runnign Age of Mythology?

I have a Radeon 7200 64MB

When I try to play the game it has blinking menus, and the game crashes all the time.

Do you have the latest driver's installed for your card? If you have windoze XP, ATI reccommends the 3.0 cats Here

Try updating to these, and see what happens.

I have the game it runs fine with my Radeon 9700 pro and the 2.5 cats.

For drivers:
I had an old version, then updated to 3.0
It still didn't work, so I tried going to 2.5 again.
Still no luck.

I have a friend who has it working fine with WinXP Pro and the same video card.
I don't get it.

My system:

• WinXP Pro SP1
  Athlon XP 1800+
  512MB PC2700 DDR RAM
  ASUS A7V333 mobo
  Soundblaster Audigy
  and Radeon 7200 64MB

That the only game you have problems with?

I would try to uninstall, and reinstall the game again, and see if the problem persists. Also check and make sure the card isn't getting too hot. You might be able to get more suggestions Here

I am unaware of any issues with that card and game, but there might be.

Do the drivers this way and see

Remove drivers reboot

Remove Control panel reboot

Run Reg Cleaner remove anything that says ATI

Install drivers reboot

Install control panel.

I have found if you dont do the drivers and control panel rebooting everytime it can cause problems.
