Age Of Empires 3 Problem

Ok, Each and every time I turn up the settings on my video card ( X800 Pro ) to
Optimal quality in the control panel.....and I start the game....It starts...then the screen
goes blue for 1/2 a second, then it reboot's. Does the same when I have high quality
settins. It will only run the games good when I set the settings on Balanced. Any one
have any idea what the problem could be?

I think there are a variety of little bugs like that. Every time I'm down playing and I go to close out of the game my computer restarts. I'm not too worried about it right now.

Is it UT2004?
if so, that is fixable.
