I read on gamespot that you play the first 20 levels solo then you can go online. Does this mean that you can finish playing it solo or is the online part after level 20 mandatory? Thanks!

you solo 1-20 and after that its mandatory

Actually you can solo the first 20 levels or play it like Diablo where you and your friend can play together for the first 20 levels. Then after 20 you can join the world. This is just want I read but I can not verify these statements.
