Age of Conan expansion question

I played Age of Conan a little bit when it came out, but I lost interest due to the ridiculous PvP imbalances... There was a lot I really liked about the game, although I think my highest character was only like 24 or something.

I understand an expansion was just released. Does anyone play still or have you taken up playing again? Is it worth giving this game another shot?

I like WoW a lot but I'm getting a little burnt out. Also running out of stuff to do.

I'm about to start back up, launched the patcher before i went to work, hopefully it's done by the time i get home, played until lvl 71'ish on pvp server.

I think I'm going to reactivate my account but I don't want to play on a dead server. Any suggestions? Or are they all dead...

I play on Tyranny right now, but I don't think I am going to buy the expansion. I'm finishing the time on a 60-day card and after that expires, will probably not play again. I am in a guild (a guy asked me to join one day a few weeks ago, so I said "Yes"), but I don't know any of the members and haven't had time to participate in their raids, etc.

how many servers do they currently have?

That was a huge problem early on, they had way to fucking many servers...

Once the first month people stopped playing the game felt so dead it was nearly unplayable

FRY's has the expansion now for $19.99 for one week including all recent game updates! Which is 5 bucks less than I just paid online to upgrade 2 days ago.

And I guess I pulled the trigger too early. I should have researched and waited to get the retail expansion copy, it includes another bonus that online upgrades are being charged for, the Tortage survival pack. The bonus puma would have been cool to lead around, too. Drats! :'(

I did get me one of these limited edition crocodiles, though!
