Age of Conan 5.1 Surround Sound in Vista

Allo all 🙂

Just finished installing/patching AoC. I'm running vista 64 sp1 and have a sb x-fi xtremegamer sound card. 5.1 surround sound does not seem to be working for me. Whether I set it to 5.1 or system default in my AoC sound settings or not. Anyone have 5.1 working under vista with AoC ? And if so, how ?!? 😀

ps. Pretty cool so far, played wow since release, and this is a nice refreshing change. Haven't got that deep into the game yet, but the environment is gorgeous.
 
While I am not certain about AoC, I can tell you that HL2 and its source engine-based games use Miles to do their surround sound. Unfortunately Miles is not compatible with Vista 64 (or even Vista at all, not certain) In order for me to get surround sound in Vista I had to get a program called SRS Audio Sandbox. I believe they have a trial so check it out and see if that helps at all. 64-bit version of SRS Audio Sandbox is on this page.
