I'm a guy. While in America Kristin is mostly female it can be masculine in different parts of the world.

I'm 30. My girlfriend just turned 33. All the girlfriends I've had were at least a year older than me. My first year as a resident at OHSU, I dated a veterinarian that was 36. I was 24 at the time. Age difference depends on the age group more than the age difference. I was perfectly comfortable dating a woman 12 years my senior when I was 24. I don't think I would be comfortable dating a woman 12 years my senior now. Conversely, I don't think I would be comfortable dating an 18 year-old girl, either. But if I were 34 and she was 22, I would have no qualms about it. It all depends on the age group, really.
