Age & dating question......2nd Update!

Here we go this is the first time I?m posting something like this for the whole world to read.

It has been almost 2 years since the last time I dated someone, and geting back on it seem difficult (am too picky).

There is a girl that I met several weeks ago at a Vietnamese restaurant, and she has contacted her girl friend....restaurant owner daughter to talk to me and give me her phone number.

The thing is that I am attracted to her, but she is only 25 years old while I am 35.

What does ATOT people think of the different in age?

I have called her best friend to do some back ground check, and I ended up talked to the best friend for over an hour. The best friend & I seemed to hit off well too...yike!

Well, isn't there some theory that you should date/marry a woman who is half your age, plus 7 years? So that means your ideal woman would be 24.5. Go for it!

when i was 19 ... i was open to dating 25 year olds .. it's just most 25 year old chicks don't give the time of day to 19 year olds.


My exgf was 22 when she met her 36 year old bf. Coming on 2 years or so, i believe.

 

Honestly, I used to care about age. And I still do care. However, I have no problem with a guy who's 10 years older, single, never married, looks young and has no kids. If he looks his age or older or has kids, then it's absolutely 'no'. If he's 15 or more years older than I, sorry but absolutely not.

Really though, personally I got tired of older men. They aren't any more mature than younger men, as you would expect. I like men my age group or slightly younger.
